PILPROFEN is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) that has analgesic and antipyretic properties. It is a non-selective COX inhibitor with an antiplatelet effect which is mild and short-lived compared to aspirin or prescription antiplatelet drugs. It also acts as a vasoconstrictor.

PILPROFEN is used to relieve pain and inflammation in these conditions osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, swollen joint, frozen shoulder, bursitis, tendonitis, tenosynovitis, lower back pain, dysmenorrhea, pericarditis, patent ductus arteriosus, sprains and strains.

PILPROFEN is also used for the following:

• Headache, earache, toothache, backache and sore throat.

• Post-immunization fever.

• Fever and symptoms of cold and influenza.
