Amalar is indicated for the treatment of uncomplicated malaria, chloroquine-resistant malaria and also for prevention of malaria prior to malaria parasite exposure.
Active Ingredients
Sulfadoxine 25mg/pyrimethamine 500mg
Directions for Use

Treatment: Take 3 tablets at once with lots of water. Repeat after 7 days if needed.

Prophylaxis: Take 3 tablets at once 1-2 days prior to malaria parasite exposure. Repeat this throughout stay in an endemic area then 4-6 weeks after.
Side effects/Interactions/Allergies
This product contains Sulphur and Steve Johnson’s Syndrome may occur as an adverse reaction.
