Xonadine 120

Fexofenadine HCI is indicated for the relief of symptoms associated with seasonal allergic rhinitis in adults and children 12 years of age and older. Symptoms treated effectively include sneezing, rhinorrhea, itchy nose/palate/throat, itchy/watery/red eyes.

DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION:

CHILDREN (above 12 years): 120 mg daily.

ADULTS: 180 mg Daily.

All doses are dependent on severity of allergy and resolution of symptoms.

In general, safety of use of antihistamines in children has not been clearly documented; however care should be exercised if benefit outweighs the risk

OVERDOSAGE, SYMPTOMS AND ANTIDOTE: In the event of overdose, consider standard measures to remove any unabsorbed drug. Symptomatic and supportive treatment is recommended. Hemodialysis did not effectively remove fexofenadine from blood (up to 1.7% removed) following terfenadine administration.
