Lonart dispersible is used in the treatment of acute, uncomplicated malaria infections in children (5-14KG/ 6 months-3 years) as it affects the growth of the parasite which causes malaria. It is not indicated for prevention.

Active Ingredients

Artemether 20mg /Lumefantrine 120mg

Directions for use

To be taken in divided dose for 3 days. Dissolve 1 tablet in a glass of water.  Give the first dose then another dose after 8 hours. The following day, give one dose in the morning and another at night (repeat this for the third day as well). Give preferably with a fatty meal.
